Take I-64 West to I-81 South/I-64 west.
Take I-81 South/I-64 West to exit 220 (you will only be on I-81 South/I-64 West about 1/4 of a mile) Exit 220 will put you on Route 262 North
Take Route 262 North to Route 254 West.
Take Route 254 West to Route 42 South
Take Route 42 South to Route 39 West
Take Route 39 West to U.S. 220 South.
Take U.S. 220 South to Vine Cottage Inn in Hot Springs. (2nd house on left after the main entrance to the Homestead).
The drive is approximately 3 hours.
From Washington, D.C. – 210 miles
Take I-66 West to I-81 South.
Take I-81 South to Exit 220. Exit 220 will put you on Route 262 North.
Take 262 North to Route 254 West.
Take Route 254 West to Route 42 South.
Take Route 39 West to Route 220 South.
Take Route 220 South to Vine Cottage Inn in Hot Springs. (2nd house on left after the main entrance to The Homestead).

From Roanoke – 75 miles
Take Route 220 North to I-581 (220 merges into I-581)
Take I-581 North to I-81 North
Take I-81 North to exit 150B (Troutville/ U.S. 220 North exit)
Take U.S. 220 North to Clifton Forge (follow signs to I-64 West to Covington)
Take I-64 West to exit 16 (first Covington exit)
At exit 16, pick up U.S. 220 North,
Take 220 North to Vine Cottage Inn in Hot Springs. (2nd house on right after the entrance to Hospital).
The drive is approximately 1 3/4 hours.
From Charleston, WV – 140 miles
Take I-64 East to Exit 16 (2nd Covington exit)
Exit 16 turn left at stop lights, go to next set of lights, and turn left onto U.S. 220 North.
Take U.S. 220 North to Vine Cottage Inn in Hot Springs. (2nd house on right after the entrance to Hospital).
The drive is approximately 3 hours.
