River Adventure Package
Paddle the beautiful Jackson River. Enjoy picturesque scenery, wildlife, exciting rapids, and amazingly clear water as you drift upon the river. This popular trip for 2 covers 7.5 miles (approximately 3.5 – 4 hours) and is a great way to experience the area. Also included is one-night stay in one of our beautiful guest rooms, a delicious three course breakfast in the morning, complimentary soda, water, coffee, tea and cookies.

Your adventure begins with a tubing trip down the crystal-clear waters of the Jackson River, hosted by Alleghany Outdoors. After a short, scenic 0.3-mile hike along the Jackson River Scenic Trail, you’ll launch onto the water for a leisurely 2.25-mile float. Let the current guide you through sunshine, breathtaking mountain views, and gentle rapids — before drifting gently back to your starting point.

Whether you choose to stay before your tubing adventure, after, or extend your getaway with additional nights, Drift and Dream makes it easy to design your ideal escape.
Package Includes: one-night stay for two at Vine Cottage Inn, a delicious homemade breakfast, and a Jackson River Tubing Adventure with Alleghany Outdoors (tube rental included).
Please note: The tubing portion of this adventure requires participants to be in good physical condition and able to hike approximately 1,500 feet while carrying a tube. Participants must be comfortable in the water, know how to swim, and be able to step in and out of their tube as needed. Shoes offering foot protection are required, and guests should be prepared to occasionally paddle to navigate the river channel.
