Many of you are aware that Jo and Jonah sold Vine Cottage Inn earlier this year to new owners, Dave and Tammy Hahn. We want to thank them for their care of both the Inn and all of the guests have have walked through the doors during their ownership. We know that we have big shoes to fill, but we are excited to move forward with this new chapter.
While we may be new to Innkeeping, we have a combined 56 years of hospitality experience and our goal is to ensure every guest has an extraordinary stay with us. We have such passion for this industry and that guides every guest interaction. Dave has 36 years in the restaurant business, with the last 19 having been with Outback Steakhouse where he was a proprietor for 10 years. He has worked in all aspects of food service from fast food to fine dining, and all positions from server to owner.
I received my Hotel Management degree from Michigan State University and have 20 years in the hotel business, I started as a front desk clerk and worked my way to general manager for a 181 unit condominium hotel in Milwaukee, WI. What does that mean to you? It means that we know what guests need and we know how to deliver consistently and exceed expectations.
Like the mountains around us, change happens slowly at Vine Cottage Inn. However, we have already made some changes. We have updated some of the seating in the living room, upgraded the bed coverings in all the rooms, added new rugs to the library, added additional seating on the porch, touched up paint, replaced artwork, and tried to tighten the doorknobs (subject for another post!).
When you visit Vine Cottage Inn, the warmth of the inn will welcome you, whether you have stayed in the past or are just visiting for the first time. We want to thank all the guests we have already met and express our enthusiasm and excitement to meet all that visit in the future. Welcome to Vine Cottage Inn, where you enter as strangers and leave as friends!
